I would like not only Misty but even Ash's clone A.K.A. Ritchie. He was a good rival for Ash, and they have a match to end.

I would like to see Gary returning... he's by far the best trainer the world has seen 
( and if you don't believe in THAT, remember that Gary has won with Ash, on every ocasion. )

Not every occasion: in their match at the Jotho League Ash won, even beating Gary's Blastoise with his Charizard.
